Jeanne passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Queensway Long Term Care, Hensall on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Norman (Tom) Tower (1994). Cherished mother of Brian and Marie Prevost, Deb and Pete Timmermans, and Sandra and Mark Consitt. Proud grandma of Larissa, Adam (Amanda), Jaclyn (Curtis); Jennifer (Allen), Jeff (Danielle), Scott (Kristan); Brandon, Ryan (Jenni), and Sean (Alexa). Adored great-grandma of Teigan, Landon, Owen, Brooklyn, Amelia, Jase, Samuel, Wesley, Madelyn, Evelyn, Bennett, Jacob, Olivia, Reid, Lennon, Clara, Rory, and Vivian. Dear sister of Jacqueline Lindstrom. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Madeline (Bezy) Prevost, and her siblings; Raymond, Denise, Georgette, Margeurite, Lucien, Marcel, Marie, Robert, Maurice, and Allan.
Jeanne was a compassionate and caring woman whose greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She very much enjoyed the beautiful flowers of spring and summer at her home in Hensall. Jeanne enjoyed taking drives through the countryside with her daughters, delighting in the simple pleasures of life and sharing stories along the way. Fiercely independent—sometimes to a fault—Jeanne lived life on her own terms, with strength, grace, and a deep devotion to those she loved.
A private family graveside service will be held at Hensall Union Cemetery.
Donations to Jessica’s House or Queensway Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.

Our sincerest condolences to all of Jeanne’s family! She was a force to be reckoned with for sure. I have so many fond memories to be thankful for. She had a sense of humour that I absolutely loved. Cherish all your memories. RIP Jeanne

Jeanne was an an amazing women. Ill miss sitting outside with her soaking up the sun as she talked about her family. Painting Jeanne’s nails purple to match her glasses. Jeanne was very excited to tell everyone about the 2 new additions to her already large family. Pure heart of gold 💛

My sincerest condolences on the loss of Jeanne. I worked with Jeanne when I started at Queensway in 1977 and then cared for her when she was a resident at Queensway. I provided foot care when she was in her apartment and she was always generous in offering me snacks and drinks and we had some good chats. She was very independent and so very proud of her children, grand children and great grand kids. May she Rest in Peace.
