Lloyd and I are so sorry to hear about your Father. You are all blessed to have had a father like him. I’m sure that we all have many good memories to remember by. He was a very good friend of ours. We got married 6 years ago on his birthday. We loved his visits, going for car rides in the country, having apple crumble pie with ice cream and going for the Thursday night rib special at the hotel in Goderich, Ontario. He was a person that you looked up to. He was full of wisdom and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Dear Family,

We may know Oom Aad already from at least 55 years ago that we visited Oom Aad and Tante Ina in Canada together with my parents Cor – & Aagje Rodenburg and my brother Harry. Remember the farm very well and the big maize fields around the farm. Oom Aad has visited Holland very often also combining by visiting his old comrades from the time he was in Indie. Since than we called often by talikng about the weather and the situation from the crops. Last time I spoke with him was on July the 12 th, where it was a bit difficult to understand him. I was chocked by hearing from my brother Harry that OomAad passed away and hope you are able by thinking via warm memories you have from Oom Aad.
