THOMPSON: Andrew ‘Sandy’ of RR 2 Lucan

Suddenly, at the South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Sunday, February 18, 2024 of RR 2 Lucan at the age of 71.  Dear brother of Hiram and Debbie Thompson of RR 2 Lucan. Proud uncle of Scott and Stephanie Thompson of Carlisle, and Terri and Scott Eagleson of St. Joseph, and great-uncle of Charlie, Riley and Miles; Ryan and Logan. Fondly remembered by many cousins, neighbours, his coffee shop crew, and his spoiled cat Barney.

Predeceased by his parents Andrew Thompson (2003) and Marion (Simpson) Thompson (2014). Sandy was born, raised, and enjoyed living his life on the family farm.

A come-and-go celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Sunday, March 3rd from 1-3 PM. Cremation with private family spring interment in St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.

Donations to the Canadian Lung Association or Arthritis Society Canada would be appreciated by the family.
