THIBIDEAU: James “Jim” Wilson

THIBIDEAU:  Unexpectedly, at his residence, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, James “Jim” Wilson Thibideau of Grand Bend, age 78.  Beloved husband of Marilyn Jane (McEachern) Thibideau.  Loved and remembered by his son Cory Steffler of St Marys and daughter Tammy vanderGaag of Milton and their many foster children through the years.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Terry and Ruth Thibideau of Inverhaugh.  Also remembered by his uncle Ken Coxson of New Hamburg.  A Funeral Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. Visitation will commence one hour prior to the service time.  Reverend Father Bradley T. Markus officiating.  Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend.  If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences at www.hoffmanfuneralhome.com

Jim was the oldest of 5 grandchildren in the Coxson family and the rest of us used to follow him around like a pack of puppies. He was the leader as we explored that big, magical house in Haysville. Those are such good memories of Jim. Even though we lost touch, we had great respect for his life and good works. Our most sincere condolences to Marilyn and her family.
