Peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 11, 2018 of London, formerly of Lucan at the age of 71. Dear brother of Betty Lou and Robert William Saunders of London. Survived by his three nieces Sonia, Deborah, and Lynda. He will be missed by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Mary (Wilkinson) Thatcher. The family wishes to thank the staff of VON and the staff of LHSC-Victoria and University hospitals, for their care and compassion.
A private family graveside service was held at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye on Tuesday afternoon at 2 PM.
For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.

We always called Ron the mayor of Lucan . He was at the corner watching just what was going on. He was and is missed

Sorry to here of Ronnie passing we spend a lot of Mondays bringing livestockto Denfield years ago.He called me a couple months ago and we had a long talk.
Sincere sympathies to Betty Lou and family on Ron’s passing. I remember Ron loved fishing when he lived in Denfield, and he went fishing often in the local creek.
I’m sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. He always had a friendly word for me when I saw him out and about.

My sympathy to your family on Ron’s passing.
I’ve missed seeing him in Lucan.
Ron would always greet me when I was downtown Lucan and we’d speak for a little while to catch up again.
I’ll raise a cup of tea in Ron’s honor as I know he really enjoyed drinking hot tea.
