TAYLOR: (Hohner) Bertha Mae of Seaforth, formerly of Varna

Bertha Mae (Hohner) Taylor, of Seaforth, formerly of Varna, passed away peacefully at her residence, on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the age of 91. Best friend of Ross MacDonald of Seaforth. Sadly missed by her children Stew and Betty Taylor of Kippen, Betty Lou and Ron Weiss of Seaforth and Lorne and Debbie Taylor of R.R. 1 Varna and Ross’s family Irene MacDonald of Stratford, Barb Miller of Seaforth, Brenda McClure of Seaforth and Ken MacDonald and Jen Lamb of Stratford. Dear grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Dorothy (Boyce) Hohner, her husband Harvey Taylor (1979), her daughter Phyllis Reber, brother Murray (Jean) Hohner and step-brother Russell Boyce .

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 3 p.m. at McBeath’s, 79 King St., Hensall. Public visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Colin Snyder officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment Bayfield Cemetery, .

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation .

A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Bertha Taylor
