Mrs. Devlaeminck was such a joy to visit when we stopped by the farm to buy vegetables. It was a delight to see her big smile and hear her spirited, energetic outlook on life. We are grateful to have known her and will keep her family in our thoughts.

Het is met spijt in het hart te horen dat Tante Susanne er niet meer is. Susanne was een lieve warme vrouw en is veel te vroeg heengegaan. Please accept our deepest sympathy. We know how much you will miss Suzanne, just as her many, many friends will miss her. She was a wonderful lady, a sincere, caring person and such a hard worker. She always treated any orders we gave her for the church as #1 and always made sure the vegetables and cabbage were the best of what she had. We always got compliments on any vegetables we got from her. We are sure going to miss that contact with her as well as the personal contact she gave each of us as we went to buy potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower and so on. Our two sons, Brent and Kurt, used to help your mom and dad in the fall getting the cabbages out of the field and the other vegetables. It was an after school job they both knew nothing about and learned as they went. Your parents, both of them, were kind, concerned, encouraging teachers to our sons and we really appreciated what they did for them.
We have been praying for Suzanne and her family this spring and summer as a group from the Centralia United Church and will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.
