My sincerest condolences to each of you regarding the passing of your Dad. He was a special kind of guy, and my memories of him and your Mom go back a long way. He always had that mischevious grin on his face, was so tall and strong. That’s how I will remember him.

We are so saddened to hear of Pats passing. He was a wonderful man, a great neighbour to our family, especially after our dad died at 56 years old. Pat was a great mentor to our family as we continued on with our family farm.
I always had great respect for Pat for his powerful ability to outwork anyone in our farm tasks.

My sincere sympathy to the family. It is the loss of a fine gentleman. We had a good laugh when Pat shared photos of he and I as very young children playing in the O’Rourke farm lane which should be about 80 years ago. Also in later years we enjoyed time together when they lived a short distance from me in Florida. He will be missed.

So sad to hear of the losses of your mom & dad. I have fond memories of baby sitting their girls, when I was a teenager. Your mom had a well stocked treat cupboard. I remember seeing your dad’s tractor lights across the road, as he farmed deep into the night. So sorry to hear of Patrick’s passing. I met him soon after being transferred to Exeter in 1978. He was a man of his word – strong in his beliefs and abilities, yet so polite during conversations. We met many times through the years and I consider it an honour to have known him.
