SULLIVAN: Passed peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, Marion Ethelena (Regier) Sullivan, age 90 of Exeter and formerly of Mount Carmel.
Precious and beloved wife of Patrick Sullivan for 65 years. Much loved mother and mother-in law of Jane Brooks (Doug), Jacqueline Sullivan (Byron DeClerck) and Susan Preszcator (Dennis). Very special grandma to Patrick, Christopher, Alexandra, Meredith and Jordan, and five great-grandchildren. Loved sister to Charles Regier (Jacqui) and Richard Regier (Rebekah), and predeceased by her sisters and brothers Grace Ducharme, Theresa Cerny, Donald Regier and Lloyd Regier and her parents Agnes (Dietrich) and Edwin Regier.
Marion and Patrick managed their family farm north of Mount Carmel for over 45 years and she relished her role as the “secretary/ambassador” at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School for 30 years. Marion was a lifelong member of the Catholic Women’s League, serving in many volunteer roles and activities. She enjoyed many interests over the years including line dancing, lawn bowling, gardening, cross-country skiing, bible study groups, crafting, movies and reading; she loved to learn. Marion and Patrick spent many sunny winters in their home in Florida during their retirement years. She touched the lives of many friends and neighbours in Exeter and around Mount Carmel.
A Private Family Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with Interment at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation or charity of choice are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.

I just recently found out about Marion and am so sorry for you and your family. She was such a lovely person, always smiling and always willing to help whether it was children, parents or teachers. During her long career at the Mount Carmel school, Marion was a very calming influence during what could be very busy days. It’s been many years since I’ve seen her but I can still picture her wonderful smile.
