To June’s family
Sincere sympathy in your great loss. June was a great, kind lady, who will be missed. Thinking of you.
Our condolences to June’s family. We were always welcomed warmly into Glen’s and June’s home and enjoyed our visits with them until Glen passed on – and since then with June over the years until just last month. They were true “salt of the Earth” people that we were happy to know as family. The photos you have posted indicate that you have many happy times to look back to – that will comfort you as you move forward in life.

Only knew June for the past year and a half but could tell immediately what a “salt of the earth” type of woman she was, the kind that carries their families and communities on their shoulders. Her stoicism and forbearance saw her through her first bout of breast cancer when she was a young woman with children and held her up as she grieved the losses of loved ones, especially of her husband and daughter. I often admired the way June carried herself with such quiet, determined strength and dignity. She has blessed us all with her legacy of resilience, family and community love and loyalty and pride in one’s hard labour. My heart is with all of June’s loved ones as they grieve her absence in their lives.
Mike, Darlene and family
