I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Elaine’s passing. I will always cherish my many visits with Elaine throughout the years. She was always so cheerful and had the best sense of humour. I will always remember her smile and laugh. She always liked to stay in the know of Amanda and I’s adventures and had the BEST memory. She faithfully watched Amanda and I to make sure we got on and off the school bus safely and promised not to tell mom and dad if she caught Amanda and I up to no good ;) I also have vivid memories of her coming out with popsicles when Amanda and I came over with dad.

Thinking of you all during this sad time. She will be missed by so many.

Elaine has had many obstacles to cope with over the years. You all cared for her dearly.
Saying goodbye is not easy.
As kids I remember your mom for being fearless of heights. Running the barn beams.
Tough as nails feet. Racing down gravel lane ways was like running on sand. Snotty noses. Water trough swimming pools. She had endless energy. We all had fun.
As we all grew up, dated, married, kids….our lives took different paths.
Elaine sat with Dolores and I all day that Saturday when mom was failing. We covered a lot of memories that day. I thank her for that.

I have many fond memories of Elaine growing up. She was known for her famous birthday cakes where she always hid money in it for us to find. Also was one heck of a ball coach back in the day.
