Condolence From: David and Susannah Shantz
Dear Paul, Esther, Fern , James and Mary and to your family members.
We share our condolences with you. As you come together with Betty, family and friends to celebrate and honor your brother Bill’s life we will also be there in spirit with you. We treasure the memories of family reunions, church related activities and the love of Christ that united us. These moments are sad for us because Bill’s death is our loss. But, we rejoice with him because he has entered into his rest with Christ.
As the words of the song so meaningful say, “Soon and very soon we are going to the see the king…. No more dying there, we are going to see the King.” Bill now knows the reality of the words to that song. He will see the King and all those he heard about but never had the chance to meet. That Day has come for him. What a blessed hope we have in Christ.
Love you lots, would love to be there with you.
Peace,
David and Susie Shantz

Dear Betty and family,
We share our condolences with you as you grieve the passing of Bill. We have many fond memories of our visits together over the past 60 years. Bill’s love for Jesus and his support for the church was a meaningful testimony to all of us. We will join with you in spirit as you come together and celebrate his life. As you shared together the joys of life so you also shared the sorrows of life. Through all of these experiences God’s grace is greater. Betty, you are surrounded by so many family and friends but Bill’s place at the table will now be empty and this will be a sad reminder to you of his absence. May the Spirit of Christ fill your heart with the truth of 1 Cor. 15: 42-44. As we grieve we also remember that Christ has promised the day of resurrection when God’s creation will be made anew.
Blessings, we are there in spirit with you.
David and Susie Shantz
