Condolence from Dave Frayne on May 21st, 2012 7:41 AM

To the Hill family:
Stan was quite a man, he loved his gardens and his surroundings. We had many dealings with Stan over the years at my parent’s store. No more seeing him ride his bike around town with plants and supplies.

Condolence from Ron and Marnie Hope on May 21st, 2012 10:20 AM

Dear Hill Family,

We are sadden to hear of the passing of Uncle Stanley.
A solitary soul, who how fittingly died in the one place doing that which was his life’s passion.
He will be missed by all whose lives were touched by him.

Our thoughts are with all his siblings.

Sincerely,
Ron and Marnie Hope

We are really sorry to hear of Stanley’s passing. We have been buying veggies from him for a lot of years, and we always had a nice visit while there. My sister was in the same grade with him in public school. I remember him and Sherman from school even though I was a lot of grades behind them. He will be missed by a lot of people but he passed doing what he loved, his garden. Bless the family

Condolence from Richard (Willie) & Linda O’Rourke on May 22nd, 2012 3:59 PM

To: Relatives, and friends of Stanley:

We will always remember Stan for his sense of humor, and friendliness. We are neighbours of Stan, and visited when we needed to pick up some vegetables. He took pride in his huge garden with the planting, and the harvest was his reward to be proud of.
With Sympathy,
Willie and Linda O’Rourke

Unfortunately, I am unable to be with you at Stanley’s funeral, however, each of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I remember my cousin Stanley as a very hard worker. He dug a septic tank line for my Dad at our cottage on Lake Huron. The ground was hard clay and the digging was tough, but Stanley made short work of it. I remember my Dad being so amazed that Stanley was able to finish the project and in such a short time.

What a beautiful memory to know that Stanley made his transition in the place he loved and doing what gave him such pleasure and reward.

love and heartfelt condolences to cousins Doug & Erna, Alan & Ruth, Sherman & Donna, and Phyllis.
Marian
