STACKHOUSE: Victor of Seaforth

Peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on April 19, 2022 of Seaforth at the age of 83. Partner of Sharon Stackhouse. Proud father and father-in-law of Kevin Pfaff, Laurie and Fred Ranter, Pat De Jongh, and Mark and Paula Stackhouse. Loving grandfather of Dean (Michelle), Shane (Cheryl), and Jeni Mae (Bryan); Jennifer (Josh), and Craig (Vicki); Lindsay and Aaron; Brett, Cory, and Bailey, and great grandfather of Emma, Dylan, Jake, Lauren, Keagan, Madi, Octavia, Phoenix, and Autumn. Dear brother of Lois Tapley, Gil Stackhouse, Steven Stackhouse. Predeceased by daughter Sherry Pfaff.

In keeping with Victor’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private funeral service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Friday, April 22 at 1PM. We are so sorry to hear of Vic’s passing. Vic was a wonderful man and a great fixer at the Shell station in Seaforth. We missed him when he retired, no one could swing a hammer and tell a story like Vic. Our sympathies and hugs to his family.

It is with great sadness that I find out this information after the fact. It had been many years since I was in touch with Victor about seed corn. Much knowledge has left us on that matter. I pray that someone is carrying the torch for his work.
