At South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, October 27, 2011, Mary Lou Socholotiuk of Zurich, passed away in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Socholotiuk (2002). Dear mother of Susan and Rod of Coburg, Peter and Denise of Dashwood, Mary and Bruce of Exeter, Judy, Shawn and Dawn of Zurich, Anne and Adam of Dashwood. Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and her many great-grandchildren. Survived by her 2 brothers Fred and Terry and 2 sisters Shirley and Sandy. Predeceased by her parents Maurice and Emily Cuylle, one grandson Jonathon and one brother Leo.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. where the complete funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The sun came up this morning;
t wasn’t very bright.
My dark mood casts a shadow;
It’s hard to see the light.
We all have just one mother
And, now that her life on earth is done,
The emptiness and loss I feel
Make it hard to see the sun.

May the pain and sadness lighten.
I will remember all her love,
And then the sky will brighten.

Her love reminds behind;
She’s traveled in a new direction –

All though I didn’t know Marylou personlly,I do know Mary her daughter.If she was half the person that Mary is ? then I KNOW she was a very warm and caring person.I am so very sorry for your loss and may God himself carry you all in your time of greif.Just remember,in heaven we suffer no more and she will always be watching over you.
