SNELL: William “Bill” of Exeter

Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On April 27, 2024 @ 9:37 AM In Exeter,Obituary | 23 Comments

Passed away at Jessica’s House in Exeter on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the age of 63. The sound of Hells Bells by AC/DC echoed the halls of Jessica’s House as he was taken into the care of the funeral home. This was indicative of Bill’s life as he always enjoyed listening to rock tunes.

After years of battling drug addiction, those who knew and loved Bill will remember him as the Bill he once was. He is fondly remembered by his family and many friends. Rest in Peace Bill.

Condolence from Paul Bies on May 4th, 2024 1:07 PM

Dear Shirley, Jack, Brenda, and the entire Snell family,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

Bill was among the first to welcome me when I moved to Exeter in Grade 8, and his friendship meant the world to me. We shared a love for rock music and a penchant for mischief, which deepened our bond through high school. Those days spent playing pool, hitchhiking to Grand Bend, our infamous gravel runs, and attending concerts are cherished memories that will always bring a smile to my face. Bill was not only a loyal friend but also a constant companion during those formative years.

Though distance grew between us after I moved away, Bill often crossed my mind and remained a dear friend in my heart. His spirit and laughter are irreplaceable.

Rest in peace, my friend. Your memory will forever be a part of me.
