SMITH: Don of Lucan

At LHSC – University Hospital, London on Monday, February 23, 2015 of Lucan, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Donna A. (Coward) Smith (2005). Dear father of Pam and Paul Hodgins of RR 2 Lucan, and Patti and Todd Smith of Orillia.  Dear grandfather of Megan Ann and Kaitlyn Dawn Smith. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Harvey and Donna Smith of Exeter.  Predeceased by his brothers Edward, Leonard, and Ralph.  Don owned and operated “Don Smith’s Sunoco” in Lucan for over 20 years.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27th at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Cremation with spring interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.

Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

The day we got married he tried to put a smoke bomb in our car but luckily it didn’t go off, and there was a lot of laughter going on as they waited for something that didn’t happen .
