SMITH:  Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound, on Sunday, June 4, 2023, Brian Roy Smith of Oliphant, formerly of Ilderton and Stoney Creek, age 64.  Beloved husband of Julie Elizabeth (Huggins) Smith.  Loved father and father-in-law of Christine and Andy Hall of Guelph.  Cherished grandpa of Lillian Hall and Griffin Hall.  Forever loved son of Earle and Margaret (Ratz) Smith of London and son-in-law of the late Thomas (2023) and Elizabeth Huggins recently of Owen Sound.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bruce and Lorna Smith of Dashwood and Carol and Hugh Crumplen of Courtice.  Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Brian was a proud member of the Sauble Beach and District Lions Club.  At Brian’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Visitation commencing 1 hour prior.  Interment Crediton Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
