SISSON: Gordon of Bayfield and Guelph

After a very short illness, Gord passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, August 1, 2022 of Bayfield and Guelph, at the age of 75. Cherished husband of Karen (Tugwell) Sisson for over 51 years. Proud father of Kelly, and David and Aimee. Adored Poppy of Noelle, Scott Jr., Rachael, Emberleigh, and Caden. Dear brother-in-law of Norma and Peter Maher, Marni and Harold Van Aaken, and Billy Tugwell. Beloved son-in-law of Marg Tugwell. Uncle of Bill and Judy, Matthew and Me-Linh, Amanda and Taylor, Jessica and Steve, Adrienne, Amber and Dawson and great-uncle of 6.

Gord will be remembered for his love of painting, travelling, and gardening. He was so proud of his gardens over the years. His “home away from home”, where he and Karen split their time was his favourite destination. While at the trailer, he enjoyed watching the birds, or collecting some stones to make into unique collectibles. Above all else, his pride and joy was his family. His grandkids were his everything and he loved every moment he was able to spend with them.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Wednesday, August 10th from 12:30  – 1:30 PM, where the funeral service will be held at 2 PM. Those attending visitation are kindly asked to register. Please click “Register Now” below to register. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Memorial Gardens, Toronto at a later date.

For those unable to attend the service, the family invites you to join with them from your home. Stream the service live or at your convenience by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh

Donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
