SIMMONS: (Munn) Mary Elizabeth Lois “Betty”

At Exeter Villa, on Wednesday, Aug 1, 2012 surrounded by her family, Mary Elizabeth Lois “Betty” (Munn) Simmons formerly of Hensall, passed away in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Frederick Simmons (2005). Dear mother of Lois and George Godbolt of Exeter, Joan and Bob Middleton of Wingham, Jackie Martin of Exeter and Dale and Stephen Bland of Grand Bend. Loving grandmother of Fred and Christina Godbolt, Matt Godbolt and Vanessa Hunt, Julie and Kasey Beirnes, Rob and Lisa Middleton, Sarah Middleton and John Hohenadel, David and Tracy Martin, Morgan Bland and great-grandmother of Will, Kate, Rose, Finn, Brayden, Conner, Charlotte, Brady, Brittney, Brendan, Nicholas and Thomas. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Munn, Eunice Munn and Audrey Munn. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Ida (Jones) Munn, son-in-law Jim Martin, sisters Helen (Frank) Ferrigno and Dorothy (Gordon T) Munn and brothers Gordon, Donald, Sandy (Wilma), Ted, Jack (Norma), Cecil and Harold ( Helen) and sister-in-law Beatrice Munn.

Visitation at Hensall United Church on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Where the funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 2 p.m.. Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment Hensall Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hensall United Church or Hensall Union Cemetery. Legion service will be held at 6:30 p.m at the church under the auspices of Hensall Legion Br #468.
