PeacefuIIy, at Seaforth Community HospitaI, Shella Patricia Davis, formerIy of Seaforth, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. Born on JuIy 10, 1923, in Chertsey EngIand, Shella was 95 years oId. In her teaching career, Shella infIuenced the Iives of her students with knowIedge and education. Throughout her Iife, Shella aIways had a speciaI fondness for animaIs.
Shella wiII be fondIy remembered by her nephew John (Edwina) RapIey of George, South Africa, friend Mike SuIIivan of RR#4 Seaforth, friend Barb Horne of Seaforth and her great nieces and nephews. Shella is predeceased by her parents, Fredrick and FIorence RapIey, her husband, William Davis, and her two brothers Eric and Dave RapIey.
Honouring Shellas wishes, cremation has taken pIace. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth (519-527-1390). As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society, or the WorId WiIdIife Fund wouId be appreciated. Sheila was a person who treated people politely and with respect….she was so friendly when she visited the bank…seemed to genuinely enjoy the company of others.
It’s been a few years since I’ve seen Sheila, but one person I’ll always remember.

We are sorry to hear of Sheila&&single&&s passing. She lived across the road from us for several years before going to the nursing home. She loved her animals and was a great neighbour. May she rest in peace.
