My sincere sympathy. Joanna was a gentle, kind person. The love of Jesus could be seen in her. We appreciated having her speak at our church a few years ago. The Lord is your strength at this time.

Every once in a while, we encounter someone who is a ‘difference-maker’, a stalwart amongst us, who in their humblest effort to be a servant, emerges as a great leader. Joanna pursued obedience to God, and in turn He illuminated Joanna as living example of His Gospel. Darrell: I met you when my Dad, Albert (Bert) James, moved into Parkwood Hospital in the fall of 2013 for what would be a short 6-week stay, prior to his unexpected death. Both my Dad and I appreciated so much the time you spent with him and me, and I gather that you and he had some meaningful and fruitful conversations. I knew that your wife was ill at the time my Dad died, and I now send to you my sincere sympathy in the sad loss of your life partner.
