I remember Pat Scarrow when her son, Greg, married my sister, Patsy. Then years later I visited her at Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia as I was there visiting another sweet lady. She was always dressed beautifully and her laugh was infectious. She was an avid reader and I would drop books off for her to read, which she loved. Rest in Peace Pat Scarrow. I also worked at Sarnia General Hospital and many people remembered her.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Pat from when I was growing up in Sarnia. She and her family were so thoughtful and helpful to us after we’d had a loss in our own family.

Condolences to her family and all who knew her.

Pat was a good Friend for 50 years – We bowled, played golf, and bridge, and had so many good times and trips together! She lit up my life – I miss her smile and fun company. My thoughts are with the family of whom I know you all since Pat shared much of her wonderful life’s stories.
Always in my Heart… Donna

Condolence from Brian Mayne on January 5th, 2019 8:00 AM

Aunt Pat always had a lovely warm smile when I visited as a boy. Motherhood seemed to come effortlessly to her. It was no surprise she successfully took up nursing, serving others, when the children were grown. Her continuing good humor and presence were always a pleasure to be around on the less frequent occasions I saw her later. My condolences to her family.

It is always so incedible to read of the passing of people I knew when growing up in Sarnia. I know my family knew Pat Scarrow, and I recognized her picture, but what I did not know was her relationship to Bill and Freda Bruner. I used to babysit for the Bruners when we all lived on Lockhart Circle. Please accept my belated condolences to Pat’s family.
