Peacefully surrounded by her family at South Huron Hospital on Monday, December 19th, 2011 Sarah (Hamill) Knox of Queensway , Hensall and formerly of Exeter in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Knox (2005). Dear mother of Betty Blue and Jim and Patty Knox all of Exeter, Irene Tomlinson and Frank of Timmins, and Oral and Laurie Knox of Ingersoll. Dear grandmother of Lisa, Trevor, Melissa and Tyler; Danielle and Matthew; Rob and Jamie; Beth and Rob and great-grandmother of Kinsley, Sawyer, Darian, Brooke, Brayden, Victoria, Rachel, Max, Breanna, Jaidyn, Dean and Megan. Dear sister of John Hamill, Jean Knox , Lily Laverty and George and Sadie Hamill all of northern Ireland. Predeceased by sisters Rita and Kathleen, sons-in-law Herb Blue and Barry Tomlinson and a grandson Earl Blue.
A private family service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

To lose one’s Mother at any age is always too soon and a lose felt deeply. May you find solace in the thoughtful condolences from your friends.
What can I say, your mom was one of a kind. I have many great memories growing up with all of you, and your mom and dad will always be a very special part of my life. I totally respect the private service but would be there if it was not. I will visit them both now at the grave whenever I go back to Exeter. My thoughts are with all of you at this time. Rest In Peace Bob & Sadie and God Bless.

We all send you our sympathys at this sad time, but we have shared a lot of happy memorys from our time spent with Aunt Sadie when we visited on holidays our thoughts are with you all at this time on the loss of your mother.

I am very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing on. From childhood I have many fond memories of visits to your parents’ home with Irene. I remember how hard your mother worked yet, she made time for knitting and sharing in laughter. She and my mother enjoyed many conversations as well. Best wishes to the whole family.
