Please accept my condolences. I have very fond memories of your parents when my Mom, Laurene worked at the store. Dave always had a ready smile and sometimes a joke for us. When we visited Ruth at Huronlea she always had such a positive attitude and was so very proud of her family. Cherish your memories. Dave and Ruth are a treasured part of mine.

Condolence from Starr and Dale Bachert on March 26th, 2014 8:00 PM

Dear Liz, Don, Bryan, Joan, and all your family,
Words cannot express what I&&single&&d like to say, at this most difficult time. Shocked to read the obituaries today, and see you (we) have lost a dear friend, mother, grandma and gr. grandma!
Have so many pleasant memories of travelling with Ruth, over the years while in Huronlea, taking her to appointments and even weddings of grandchildren which was such an honour to me. We spent many hours just chatting to and from the destinations, and never a word was expressed negatively as she became more and more unable to do things for herself. Indeed a great lady, who will be missed by all. Thank you for giving me (and Dale, who accompanied me at times), the opportunity to serve her in this manner. It was a privilege, and a blessing. Having lost my mom,… Memories indeed become treasures when a loved one is lost, especially a mother! I feel your great loss and pain.May God lift you up with encouragement and strength and may His loving arms give you all, the much needed peace. Numbers 6:24-26 Will have you all in thought and prayer on Saturday, even though we can&&single&&t be there. Hugs, Starr (and Dale) Bachert (van driver for Huronlea Home for the Aged)
