Peacefully at LHSC- University Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2019 of Bryanston at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late William Roberts (1983). Loving mother of Tim Roberts and Cathy Cowie of London, Linda and Jim Hanlon of Denfield, Terry Roberts of Bryanston, and Colleen Roberts of London. Loved grandmother of Keri and John, Kris and Jen, Ashley, Crystal and Shawn, and Jessie. Great grandmother of Cole, Will, Ryder, and Jayden. Evelyn was very proud of her service as a W.R.E.N. in WW II.
A private family funeral service was held. Interment Medway Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Terry and Family, we are so, so sorry to hear fo your Mom’s passing. She was the last surviving sibling in the Hughes family. It is the end of an era.
We are grateful to have spent a little time with her during our last visit so our memories will be of Aunt Evelyn’s knowledge of the family history.
May she rest in peace and join her three sisters, Mary, Esther, Pat and brother, Harry and her beloved Bill.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I can remember driving her with one of my son’s into London for driving lessons. We lived a couple of houses from her in Bryanston for many years. Terry, you used to babysit for me. Colleen, you and Randy used to be friends. She is at peace now. God bless.
