Bob, Sandy, Courtney & Matt, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Someone sent us this poem when Craig passed away and it touched us deeply. We would like to share it with you

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground
But it&&single&&s not just a penny
This little coin I&&single&&ve found

This penny comes from heaven
Angels toss them down

When an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown

So don&&single&&t pass by that penny when your feeling blue
It may be a penny from heaven an Angel tossed to you

With deepest sympathy
The Jervis Family

I am thinking of you Bob and your family in your time of sadness with the loss of your son “Mackenzie”. One
can never imagine the pain and the hope that you and

Bob and Sandra:
It has been a long time since we have spoken. The days of Larry Morris have come and gone. I am sure if Larry were here today he would be with you to just give you his special smile and wonderful way of making life seem better. I am sure he is looking down on us and will take good care that MacKenzie finds a wonderful spot in heaven. It is difficult to express how much my heart goes out to you all today as no one can ever cope or understand with your sadness. Live your life for him and keep his memories forever in your heart.
John MacKeigan will be visiting with you and I will try and come with him.
Sometimes we just need an extra hug.

Carol

Condolence from Larry &Beth Livingston and Family on September 9th, 2005 8:00 PM

Bob , Sandy and family ; Our deepest heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your dearest Mackenzie we haven&&single&&t the words to express. May you find some solice in these words of Longfellow as we did :

The Reaper And The Flowers

There is a Reaper, whose name is Death,
And, with his sickle keen,
He reaps the bearded grain at a breath,
And the flowers that grow between.

“Shall I have naught that is fair?” Saith he;
“Having naught but the bearded grain?
Though the breath of these flowers is sweet to me,
I will give them all back again,”

He gazed at the flowers with tearful eye,
He kissed their drooping leaves;
It was for the Lord of Paradise
He bound them in his sheaves.

“My Lord has need of these floweretsgay,”
The Reaper said, and smiled:
“Dear tokens of the earth are they,
Where he was once a child.”

“They shall all bloom in fields of light,
Transplanted by my care,
And saints, upon their garments white,
These sacred blossoms wear.”

And the mother gave, in tears and pain,
The flowers she most did love:
She knew she should find them all again
In the fields of light above.

O, not in cruelty, not in wrath,
The Reaper came that day;
&&single&&Twas an angel visited the green earth,
And took the flowers away.

Condolence from Paula and the UWO Mustangs Football team on September 11th, 2005 2:00 PM

The UWO Mustangs Football team were greatly saddened to hear of Mackenzie&&single&&s death. After winning last night&&single&&s football game (hurrah!), one of the team captains read the card that Mackenzie wrote for them. There weren&&single&&t too many dry eyes in that group of big tough football players. We know that we have an angel in our backfield watching over us and will try our best this season to get to the Vanier Cup and “never give up”, which was Mackenzie&&single&&s advice to the team. Mackenzie will continue to inspire us to be a better team, a better player, and a better person.

Condolence from Deb, Zack, and Rebecca MacLean on September 11th, 2005 9:00 PM

To the one and only Pizza Bob, Sandy, Courtney, and Matthew,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours.

I choose to believe that everything happens for a reason although the reasons may be unclear and unfair, and it certainly is difficult to understand why it was time for Mackenzie to leave this earth. All we can do is trust that God has a greater purpose for Mackenzie and that he was called home to fulfill this purpose. Even though he is not present in body, I do believe he is present in spirit and always will be. I like to think that during those moments when see something out of the corner of our eye, yet when we look and nothing is there, that what we did see oh so briefly was the spirit of our loved one stopping by to remind of us of his/her continued presence.

May God bring you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow, and may your friends surround you to give you strength and support.

Sincerely,
Deb, Zack, and Rebecca MacLean.

Words are so useless sometimes. I&&single&&ve been thinking of you a lot, but what can I possibly say?

When the dust settles, please consider coming to Montreal, a change of scenery might help ease the pain a bit. Lots of room in the new place, cozy and bright. Love to have you stay. We could explore what the Jean-Talon Market has to offer, cook up something good, knock back a few bottles of decent wine. Then start over again. Plaza St-Hubert is also close by, for bargain-hunting. St-Denis, with all its caf

He was a great neighbour. We enjoyed playing on the trampoline and catching the baseball. Also when you came over to play the PS 2 was one of our favorite times with you Mackenzie. The soccer games were fun also because we would always score on you( only because you let us though). Even when you were feeling sick you would come over for a little while and shoot the puck around or play tether ball. We will always remember the fun times with you and Matt and will miss you always. We have alot of fun memories with you Mackenzie. We hope Sandy, Bob, Courtney and Matt can find peace within your hearts and can look back at such wonderful memories you may have. God Bless you all
