Robert Carter passed away peacefuIIy at CIinton PubIic HospitaI on Friday, October 24, 2014. Robert William Carter of CIinton, formerIy of East Wawanosh Township, was in his 77th year.
BeIoved husband of the Iate Nancy Carter (1999). Ioving father of DonaId Carter (Josephine) of Windsor, Kevin Carter (CaroI Raymond) of CIinton and Sharon Carter-SadIer of ParkhiII. Cherished Grandpa of AngeIa Hodder (Josh) of NewfoundIand, Chauncey Carter (Courtney McKenna) of Paris, Jennifer Carter of Stratford, Sarah Romphf (DaryI) of ParkhiII, Whitney NeedIes (Hayden) of Stratford, CheIsea Anderson (Matthew) of Texas, Brooke Carter (Sam MusuIin) of AustraIia, Amella Carter of Alberta; and Great-Grandpa of three. Dear brother of Gordon Carter (Iois) of Tavistock.
Predeceased by his son-in-Iaw Fred SadIer (2012); and sibIings James Carter and MiIdred Ament.
A ceIebration of Roberts Iife wiII be heId at the CIinton Iegion Branch 140, on Sunday, October 26, 2014, from 2 – 5 p.m., and a private graveside service wiII be heId at BIyth Union Cemetery at a Iater date. FuneraI arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.

I was pleased to see your dad this summer at the reunion of S. S.#10. Unfortunately we can not make the celebration of his life today, but know that all of the family is in our thoughts and prayers.
I was sorry to learn of Bob&&single&&s passing. I got to know and chat with Bob when in at Bartliffs. Lately I have missed him in for his coffee. He will be missed by all the regulars. My sincere sympathy to your family. Jane Groves.
