Uncle Bob was a man of great integrity and spirit. He loved a good joke and always had a smile that warmed any room he entered. Friends and family were always welcome at any time. He and Aunt Bernice were well respected in their community. He will be missed just as much as Aunt Bernice is. Our sincere condolences to Doug and Barb and family.

Condolence from Paul and Jan Jeffery on January 31st, 2010 7:24 PM

Doug, Barb, Scott, Lori, Rob, Heather and families,
Our hearts are so very heavy with the feeling of loss in the passing of Uncle Bob. He fought a very courageous battle, especially during the last few months, and never once did we hear him complain about his condition nor did he admit to being in pain. He lived his final months as he lived his life with dignity and strength of character never losing his sense of humour. He had such a distinctive and heartwarming giggle that will never be forgotten. We will all miss him but know that he is in a better place and that he and Aunt Bernice are together again. Please know that we have you all in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
Love and Hugs,
Paul, Jan and family

Condolence from Dr. John Earle on February 3rd, 2010 11:22 AM

Dear Jeffrey Family : My sincere sympathies go out to you all! In all of my years as a veterinarian in Huron county I will not forget certain individuals and their pets! I will always remember Bob as a true gentle man! He loved the dogs and always wanted the best for them yet he never wanted to inconvenience any of us at the clinic. It was always a pleasure to see him coming through our doors. Cookie was also always very gentle …now Willy on the other hand was more of a challenge!
I am so glad to have known both Bob and Bernice!
Sincerely Dr. John Earle

Our sympathy in the loss of a dear father and grandfather. We have such warm memories of his friendly smile, his sense of humour and his terrific memory of family happenings. He always had time to visit and we always enjoyed his company and that of your Mom’s too. He was a great guy and will be missed by all. We are sorry we couldn”t be at the funeral but we left for Florida and a cruise on Jan. 31. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Bob and Helen
