Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in her 68th year. Loving wife of Floyd Riley for 50 years. Dear mother of Noreen and Doug Smith of Centralia, Butch and Shelly Riley of Huron Park, and Tina and Brad Ankers of Exeter. Cherished grandma of Caitlyn, Jordan (Kate), Samantha (Hadden), William (Sophie); Derriane, Madison, Tyson, Reed; Kara, Dannika, Hailie, and Darlene. Dear great-grandma of Hudson. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Clendon Kerr of Toronto, Bill (Ingrid) Kerr of Clinton, Kevin Kerr of London, Joanne McLaren of London, Rob (Tracey) of London, Carolyn (Randy) Redmond of Huron Park, Dave Kennedy of Centralia, and Bill Dixon of London. Lynda was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Ron Riley, Don Riley, Gayle Riley, Marilyn Dixon and Cheryl Kennedy.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Lynda’s life will be held at the Centralia Community Centre, 148 Melbourne Street, Centralia on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter entrusted with arrangements.
Donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation – Jessica’s House, the Lung Association, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

One thing that I do know, is that is there ever was a Mother who was strong and loving, and took such amazing care of her family,, it would have been her. Just know that the values you have learned, the dreams she helped you discover, with the encouragement to grow independently, all came from your Mom with such love and pride. You have her strength in each one of you, and you will all need to lean on that strength now , to get you through this emotionally time in your lives. You are in my thoughts, each one of you,, hugs to you all. Those of us who have already lost our Mothers, know exactly the pain that you are feeling right now. There is nothing quite the same as losing your Mom. Hugs again…..
