I spent a lot of time with the Riddell family in my teenage years and Pat was always welcoming. Thinking of the family at this time.

Dear family – I didn’t know Pat extremely well but I well remember the smile and graciousness which she possessed. Whenever I visited I never knew which of the many dogs would greet me but she was always there to supervise.

I haven’t seen you since our last shared camping week as kids at Seeley’s Bay with Ed and Marge, which was many years ago. John, my husband, Frank, and I have seen you more recently than that, but it has been a while. Despite that I have managed to keep up with what all of you have been up to over the years either from a visit John and Pat made, along with Bill and Judy, while we were camping or via a visit that Mom and Dad (John and Joanne Williams) made to Lucan, the most recent being a few weeks ago to celebrate John’s birthday. I was very sorry to hear Pat had passed away, and had gone on to join Ed, Marge, my brother (John) and others. It is nice to know, though, that she is no longer suffering. I will be thinking of you in the coming days.

Pat Riddell was a kind and generous soul. I will miss her deeply. We shared many heart to heart stories during our time together in dialysis about life, dogs, kids, hockey and gardening. The night that Kraft Canada had the voting for the hometown arena Pat and I showed all the other patients and staff how to vote and to vote as often as possible til the end of your treatment or shift. It was a fun night for everyone. Heaven has gained one terrific angel!
