Steve, Sandra & families, and extended Riddell & Whaling families;
Our sincere sympathy in Doug’s passing. I have so many great memories of my high school years and well beyond enjoying Doug’s, and Betty’s welcoming, smiling faces. They were always so hospitable and accommodating to us young folks. Even meeting Doug in the arenas many times in more recent years, we’d always have a good chat. I was even able to absorb some valuable business advice from Doug’s vast knowledge bank of the business world on more than one occasion.
Treasure your many memories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time. ….Rest in Peace Mr. Riddell.
Mark & Julie Heimrich, Sarah, Scott & Spencer.

We are so sad to read of the passing of our dear friend Doug, we live in the condos in Grand Bend and Doug was our neighbour for many years. We chatted almost daily until he moved to Exeter Villa and we really missed him then.
