Dear Joe, Jane & family,
My deepest sympathy and prayers.
Growing up, Bev and I were inseparable. Best friends. Lived at each other’s houses, sleepovers, cookouts, riding in the back of my Mum’s pickup going to the pool in Lucan, and many hilarious antics and adventures too numerous to write here. George, used to call us “His girls” as we were never apart, we used to drink Ethel’s ginger ale and she would get after us…. Pop popcorn in her kitchen at 11pm after we came back from the ballgame….. Rode our bicycles miles and miles, went to the Stewart Reunion every summer at Springbank and The Westminster Hospital picnic, going into London on the bus to shop, then catching a ride home with Aunt Lorna when she had the restaurant…… So many memories…. So long ago.
The old Ailsa Craig gang of kids….. Such memories.
Bev, I hope you are in peace with Joey, your Mum, Dad, and all those who we love that have gone before. I’ll never forget you, my friend, precious memories always.
