Peacefully, at his residence on Thursday, February 24, 2011, Peter Ambrose Regier of Zurich, passed away in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Soudant) Regier. Dear father and father-in-law of Renea and Paul Clendenning of Hensall, Brian Regier of Calgary, Raymond and Bobbi Regier of London, Jamie and Leanne Regier of R.R. 2 Zurich, Tom and Bethoney Ducharme of Hensall and foster father to Natalie and Kaitlynn. Loved by his grandchildren Ryan, Amanda and Richard; Jordon; Josh, Jesse; Carlie, Mckenna, Logan; Erica, Zoey; foster granddaughter Jody and great-grandson Karl. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lucille Masse, Cecilia and Joe Kieley, Theresa and Peter Salvador, Gloria DeGregorio, Joe and Rosemaire Regier, Michael and Marie Regier, Larry and Barb Regier, Theresa Regier and Sister Ann Regier. Sadly missed by the Soudant family and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Lydia (Ducharme) Regier, daughter Sandra Ducharme, grandson Brenden Clendenning, brothers Clem Regier, Leo Regier, sister Pat (Jerry) Boland and brothers-in-law Clare Masse and George DeGregorio. Cremation. Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday February 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Zurich. Fr. Graham Keep celebrant. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
