REES: Suddenly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Sunday, July 30, 2000, John Rees of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Fort McMurray, Alberta, age 63. Beloved husband of Sylvia (Davis) Rees. Loved father of Karen Rees and her husband Bradley Koskowich and Dale Rees, all of Fort McMurray. Loving grandpa of Bradley “B.J.” Koskowich and Angela Marie Koskowich. Dear brother of Sonia Richards of South Wales. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Friday, August 4, 2000 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Grant Darling officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Shriners or a children’s charity of your choice would be appreciated. John was half of the well known Clown duo “Curly” and “Dixie” who entertained children of all ages. He died suddenly doing what he loved best – making children happy.
