RAYMOND: Sally-Lou (MacWilliam) of London and formerly of Exeter

Peacefully at the Village of Glendale Crossing, London on May 18, 2022 at 88 years of age. Survived by her loving children Tom and Cathy Raymond of London, Catherine Raymond of Coldwater, and Doug and Nancy Raymond of Toronto. Also survived by her adored grandchildren Chris, Heather, Cassie and Hannah. Predeceased by her husband Peter Raymond in 2018, and her parents A.D. (Douglas) MacWilliam (1981) and Olga MacWilliam (1988).

Sally-Lou was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Wingham, Ontario. She married Peter in 1956 and briefly lived in Toronto and London until they moved to Exeter where Peter established his law practice. Sally-Lou was active in the community throughout her life, volunteering her own time as well as with several service clubs including the Exeter Lioness Club. Never one to complain, she maintained her positive outlook through to her final days. She will be sorely missed. The family would like to thank Sally-Lou’s care providers over the past four years, including the staff and physicians at the Village of Glendale Crossing as well as at Exeter Villa.

As per Sally-Lou’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Exeter Cemetery at a later date. Cremation & Celebrations, ARVA entrusted with arrangements.

Sally-Lou was a long-time supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) through involvement with their annual Daffodil Campaign. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CCS or to the charity of your choice.
