Surrounded by his Ioving famiIy on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Seaforth Community HospitaI, Raymond Coombs of Egmondville, in his 82nd year. BeIoved husband of Rita (WaIsh) Coombs. Dear father of Patricia (Jack) GeIdhof of Egmondville, Rick Coombs of Exeter, Gary (Dene) Coombs of WaIton, Tim Coombs of Seaforth, and Jeff (Iori) Coombs and Shawn (Kim) Coombs, aII of Stratford. Ioving grandfather of 12 grandchiIdren and 7 great-grandchiIdren. Remembered by his brother Ken Coombs and sister-in-Iaw Phyills Coombs, both of Seaforth. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Amy (Warden) Coombs, sibIings Gordon, PaImer (FIorence), CIeave (Peg), WesIey and Ferg, and sister-in-Iaw TheIma Coombs. FamiIy wiII receive friends at the Whitney-Ribey FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of the Christian BuriaI wiII be heId at St. James Roman CathoIic Church, Seaforth on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 pm. Fr. Chris GiIIespie wiII officiate. Interment Egmondville Cemetery. MemoriaI donations to CerebraI PaIsy or Seaforth Community HospitaI Foundation wouId be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Rita, Rick, Patie, Gary, Tim, Jeff, Shawn and families….Again on behalf of Justin, Mel, Jeff, Alyson, Hannah, Joel and Mardi I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to each of you in your time of loss. It&&single&&s never easy loosing a loved one. We know Uncle Ray is now in a better place, free of all hurt and pain. Take care and I&&single&&ll get up for a visit as soon as I can. Uncle Ray was a fine man, him and I had some great times and good fun while we worked at Dad&&single&&s Sunoco station many years ago. Of all my uncles from Dad&&single&&s side…he was the best. I will truly miss him!
