Dear Joan & Judy & families
So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom – thank you for sharing her with me so many years ago. I’ll remember her laugh, her kind words, and her imitations of Red Skelton characters! I saw her a few years ago and she reminded me of getting stuck in the mud – over our boots – in the field – were you wearing white socks, Joan? I’m sending big hugs to you all and thinking of how Grand Bend has lost a great lady.

Joan, Judy and Family
We were so sad to hear the news of your Mom’s death.
There are some people you just expect to live forever and your Mom was one of those beautiful people. I will never forget her laugh! I remember her dry sense of humour and smart remarks for us as teenagers!
She was such a wonderful person and she will be missed so much.
May you surround yourselves with family and friends to help you through these coming months.

Most sincere regards
Kim & Bob Case

Condolence from Charles Darby on August 3rd, 2015 4:10 PM

Dear Joan Judy and Ted, So sorry to hear of Delights passing. I just got back to Ontario this day and discovered the news via a relative. She was truly a force to be reckoned with and had a quirky but funny sense of humor. I will tell Delights sister Ruth of the news next time I see Ruth but I fear her dementia has taken too much of her memory away.

Condolence from Elizabeth & Rod McColl on August 10th, 2015 4:04 PM

Dear Joan ,Judy,Pam and family,We are sad to hear of Aunt Delight’s passing. We enjoyed her visits to our farm & were just recently talking about her & Rod’s experience with the hay wagon on the gravel pit hill. It is part of our farm history. Delight always had a knack for creating a memorable trail of experiences where ever she went & she was always ” on the Go”. .My first time away from home on my own was a summer visit to Aunt Delight’s apartment in downtown Grand Bend in the summer!! It was like living in a carnival for a kid! It was so much fun being in the midst of all the busyness downtown.
She was a people person & lived a life full of colourful accounts of her activities.
She will be missed by many & fondly remembered. Love Elizabeth & Rod
