QUIRIE: Frances “Fran” (Gamble) of London, formerly of Exeter

Passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 of London, formerly of Exeter at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Robert Quirie (2001). Proud mother of Steve and Jody Quirie of Florida, and the late Kenneth (2013) and Lorraine Quirie (2016) both of London. Adored grandmother of Kimberly and John; Jason, Crystal (Steve), Ryan (Karen), Terri (Steve) and great-grandmother of Brianna, Coleman; Damien; Cayle, Danica, Matthiew, and Aria. Sister of Lois Ballard of Dorchester, and sister-in-law of Alida Gamble of Granton. Predeceased by her parents Harry (1970) and Martha (1973) Gamble, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Fran will be missed by several nieces and nephews and her dear friend Irene who called frequently to offer comfort and advice. A special thank you to the PSWs from VON, past and present, especially, Phiroza, Sonia, and Meghan, Kandus from the Diabetic Clinic, and Margaret from the Arthritis Society. She will be missed her good friend Jack who has been a big help along the way. Fran loved her hockey and was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Fran’s funeral service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Saturday, June 11th at 10 AM with Rev. Jim Innes officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

Donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
