PUSHELBERG: Larry Carl of Egmondville

The family of Larry Carl Pushelberg, formerly of Brodhagen, would like to announce his peaceful passing at Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 72. Devoted husband of Dianna for 29 years. Loving father of Tammy (Mike) Locking, Harvey Low (Sharron Farrell), and Toni (Michael) Capstick. Cherished Pa to Rachel, Chelsea, Sabastian, Colton, Rebecca, Amanda, Austin, Kaige, Joshua, and Luke. Proud Great-Grandpa of 12.

Fondly remembered by his sisters Donna Davidson, June (Ted) de Waal, Jean (Ron) Martin, Bonnie Jones, Anne Miller, and his brothers Ken (Susan) Pushelberg, Dwight (Sandra) Pushelberg. Survived by his siblings-in-law, Rick Ball, Marie Louise Bastiaasen, Hilda (Al) Shannon, and Joanne (Dave) Van Buel. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Edith Pushelberg; his siblings Elaine Valsamos and Ralph Pushelberg; his grandson Michael Williams; his daughter-in-law Anne Marie Zavitz; his brother-in-law Murray Jones, his in-laws Harry and Joanna Van Buel; and his siblings-in-law Clementine (Henri) Poels, August Van Buel, Peter Bastiaasen, and Walter (Pat) Van Buel.

Larry will also be reunited with his beloved furry companions, Chico and Rusty.

In the 72 years that Larry lived, he was so many things to so many people. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a dad, a Pa, an uncle and a friend. Larry truly had a heart made of loving and pure intentions. Never putting himself first, looking out for others, he had the perfect listening ear, the best of hugs and was always 100% the best version of him. If you knew Larry you knew this meant no room for anger, love fully, don’t judge and most important, have fun. Down to the final moments, Larry found the strength and courage to carry us through and console us during his passing. Even though a limb has fallen from our family tree, we are all beyond blessed to have had a piece of his love.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made to the Children’s Health Foundation (supporting Children’s Hospital).

The family wishes to send a special Thank You to all the staff at Seaforth Hospital, Care Partners, Dr. Gavsie and Dr. Law for their care and compassion.

As well as to take a special moment to thank Nurse Tanya who went above and beyond.
