As soon as I met Dianne’s mom I was blown away by her charisma and confidence. I have amazing stories and memories of our visits together at Dianne’s house and will cherish them always. Her fierce love of her children and grandchildren was incredible to see and how she would take the time to make everyone feel special. Rest in peace Rose knowing that you have raised amazing children and that your love will continue to be shown in their actions.

Condolence from Patrick Frendo-Cumbo on May 7th, 2018 7:47 PM

From the first time I met Rose we hit it off. She was such a kind and generous person. Every time we would meet at the beach she would always bring her bag of snacks and goodies for all to share. I enjoyed her many stories of back home. She always spoke with such pride whenever she talked about her family here in Ontario and back home in Newfoundland. We had a lot in common and I enjoyed the time that we spent together. Although our friendship only goes back a few years, I will always treasure the time we spent together. It was a privilege to call Rose my friend. I will miss her terribly. To Rose’s family and friends, I wish to extend my sincere condolences on your great loss. Sending you all peace and love at this very difficult time. May you rest in peace my dear friend Rose.

Condolence from Annie Cooper on May 7th, 2018 9:03 PM

I worked with rose at Inergi. She was the kindest, funniest person. We chatted frequently on Facebook, sometimes at 3 am last summer when I was pregnant and uncomfortable. I loved our chats. She was such a strong, smart woman. She stopped me at loblaws around Christmas and got to meet my baby, who she told me she was in love with. I am so so glad they got to meet. Her middle name is Rose and I will always think of rosette for the rest of my life because of that. We had planned to see each other when the weather got warm, my heart is so broken that we won’t have that visit. She was truly amazing and I will miss her. My sincerest condolences to all who loved her.

Condolence from Cynthia Millar on May 7th, 2018 9:25 PM

As you make new friends as you get older, it’s rare to meet the parents of those friends. Being such close friends with both Renee and Dianne, it has been such a joy getting to know Rose over the years and to see where the sisters get their sass and love of life from. Rose always brought an extra big smile to my face when she made an uplifting comment on our pictures on social media and when she cheered us on from the sidelines at our soccer games. You will be greatly missed xo

Condolence from Sharren ( White) Dean on May 9th, 2018 2:02 AM

So sorry to hear of Rosette’s passing. We were great friends at school in Stephenville. She taught me, among other things, to keep my hands extra warm in winter by carrying boiled eggs in my mittens. In the traditional way of the 60s we stabbed our hands with a baby pin and pledged to be blood sisters. She was loyal and fun and I loved her with my great big 9 year old heart. You are blessed to be set free if you were ill Rosette, but you will live on in the hearts and lives of all who loved you. I count myself as one who is better for having known you, and I still eat a lot of boiled eggs in the winter. My sincere sympathy to the family.

Condolence from Frances on May 9th, 2018 9:20 AM

Sometimes I wonder if you know what a difference you made in my life Rosette.
You came along took my hand and showed me where to walk.
You brought light to my path and gave me confidence.
You help me to love, where no one has ever cared more than you Rosette.
I can wipe away the tears from my eyes but I cannot wipe away the pain in my heart.
We shall find Peace,
We shall hear Angels,
Wherever you go, go with all your heart,
We will miss you more with each passing day Rosette.
Love Forever and Always
