POOLE: Leonard Francis “Len” of London

It is with peaceful hearts and loving memories that we remember Leonard Francis Poole. Len passed away peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on December 15, 2020, in his 95th year. Beloved husband to Jean (Coursey) Poole for over 69 years. Loving father of Carolyn, Jeffrey (Kathryn), and Warren (Jessie). Cherished grandfather of Katherine (Chris), Alison, Laura (Craig), Alan (Hope), Kimberly (Aaron), Jennifer, and Jonathan. Great grandfather of Bryson, and Blake Brereton and Nash Poole. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Walter and Elizabeth, siblings Alice, Emily, Gladys, Bessie, George, John and Donald. Len was a licensed electrician in the construction industry then became an electrical inspector with Ontario Hydro. He enjoyed playing a round of golf or going for a drive in the car, but most of all, spending his time with the grandchildren and his family.

A private family memorial service will be held at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Arva on Saturday, December 19th at 1 PM with Reverend Wendy Mencel officiating. Cremation with interment St. John’s Cemetery, Arva. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your own home.
