Condolence from MARNIE Hope (Gidley) on August 1st, 2020 12:30 PM

To All of Bill’s family, on behalf of the GIDLEY family siblings, we offer our sincere condolences.
Dennis, Pat and I attended S.S. #6 on the 13th concession, London Twp. with Bill.
We were given rides home from school on numerous occasions, by his Dad, in their horse and buggy or in the sleigh on cold winter days, of which we were so grateful.
I always remember the mashed potato sandwiches he brought for lunch. I never actually tried one, but I’m sure they
filled him and gave him energy for the remainder of the day.
Bill was a very friendly and likeable soul and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bless you all!

Sincerely the Gidley siblings.

Our deepest sympathy on Bill’s passing to Marjorie and his family. We were on the same shift at PetroCanada for many years. As Bill and I were both “car guys”. We used to have some interesting conversations, even though Bill was a Ford guy! Rest In Peace, Bill.

Condolence from Dave Harris on September 7th, 2020 11:00 PM

First met Bill when he drove for BP. Every step he took must have counted as he was often the first one done his shift regardless of how much time he burned up sharing the latest trucking news with you. Always seemed to love his work and was a pleasure to know.

Sincerest condolences
Dave Harris
