I’m so sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. We spent a lot of time together at The Big Hitter. He was a great boss and a great person. Thinking of you all.

Always smiling followed by his distinct giggle. His cowboy boots and vests. Always asking “how’s my girl?”
These are just a skim of my memories. Dad and Barry were among a group of crazy ass RR#4 guys who tried to stop the last train going through Denfield in the late 70’s. I can still see Barry and horse taking off down the track after that train. Claire, please know we are truly sorry you’ve lost your best friend.

So sorry to hear about Barry’s passing. I remember a few years ago his horses got out at 11 pm and Lee and I went down to help gather them up. They were almost at Hyde Park Rd. Barry and I walked 2 of them back in a field in the dark, but we made it. Lee was looking for others to make sure we had them all. Great memories, great neighbour. Hugs to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss and I know how much he meant to many! I too remember him hanging out at Tom’s and how much he shared the love of horses.
