Condolence from Linda & Andy Smart on August 29th, 2016 6:21 PM

If we used all the words known to man we could still not convey the expressions of love and pain we are feeling over the loss of this fine young man. We became neighbours before Alex’s 1st birthday, and watched as this “character” ( and at times he was such a character to be around ); and his sister Laura & big brother Eddy grow up. It is an Honour to know this Family & call them our Friends. He enjoyed life, and he was taught such things as manners, compassion,responsibility, humility, honesty, and “all” the other true values of life by two of the best parents God ever created.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ..and ” anything” with a motor on it !!! His Dad always made him aware of proper road rules, and courtesy to others…but there were times he would terrorize all of us with his go-cart sessions in front of our houses. Hey; ….Alex was and still is a kid at Heart, and I have no doubt that he is now making his presence known to all his new Friends in Heaven….and he will have many !!! Until we see you again our Dear Friend;
we will try to always be here for your Family Alex.
Our Love to all; Andy & Linda

Condolence from Steven Oliver on January 24th, 2020 7:55 PM

I met your son one day at the Covent Garden Market in London. He and I were out on our motorcycles. He was parked there getting a coffee, as was I. I started a converstaion with him. He was such a sweet and caring young man. If I hadn’t seen his name embroidered on his motorcycle seat I would have never known it was him when I saw his name browsing the obituaries for my aunt’s passing. I believe this wasn’t by chance that I saw his obituary. It was his name at the top of the page that caught my attention. Also, days later I was in Harris Park, the only one in the park when I thought I saw Alex walking by; it was his brother. I said, “Alex?” and the man said, ” no. I’m his brother”. We chatted a bit. I truly believe Alex reached out to me from the other side, where he is happy and is waitnig for us. God bless you and your family, and I wish you comfort in knowing he is watching and waiting for us.
