Oh Ruth: our sincere condolences … I remember how you and Peter took our son in for a summer at Huron County Playhouse at 11 years old. We are forever greatful for that. Working beside you at LHSC for twenty years was a blessing … Peter was such a good man and you such a loving wife. Lots of love. I’ll see you on Wednesday . Luv, Louise xoxo

Ruth worked with my mom for years and when I got cast in a musical right up the street from Peter and Ruth’s house they welcomed me to stay with open arms.

I’m not the first to say that I was/am a handful at that/this age, but it didn’t seem to matter to them. Meals and movies and dogs and bikes. Whatever I wanted.
