I have far too many memories to be able to share them all. So I will share My most memorable ones. When my son passed away in 1993, Uncle Calvin and Aunt Glo opened up their hearts and their home to me and helped me through my grief. The love I received from the entire Pelley Family will be deeply embedded in my heart. Karen wrote my son’s obituary and took me out to buy his gown for his funeral when I didn’t have to strength to do it myself. Laurie drew a portrait of him which I still have today and Peggy was like my sister, we were inseparable. My second memory is when I lost my own father in 2020. Despite being in the heart of Covid, Uncle Calvin and Aunt Glo travelled to Newfoundland to say their last goodbye to him. My father and Uncle Calvin were like brothers. These memories will forever be embedded in my heart. I love you all

Calvin is a man of faith. He loved playing cards and enjoyed his time in Florida doing that with us. He loved his Diet Coke he brought to Florida by the car load. He loved his wife home made bread she would make by the table full of bread. We will miss him dearly but we know he is now in a better place out of pain and in the arms of the lord. We are so sorry for his family and May Calvin RIP. He will now be watching over all his family like they did in his ailing health.

I remember babysitting the three girls when you lived in Glenwood. Calvin would always have something funny to say when I’d go there. He was a very soft spoken man and I know he loved you all. Cherish your memories of him, keep them close to your heart and he’ll always be with you. Thinking of you and sending you my deepest sympathy and prayers.
Phoebe Warren
