Condolence from Marg Nicholson on January 22nd, 2010 9:32 AM

Dear Patti,
I met your mom and dad last year at the Cancer Centre. My son was undergoing treatments too at that time. Your mom and I had a wonderful conversation together discussing education philosphies. In that brief encounter, I realized what a dynamic and wonderful human being your mom was. I had hoped that we would one day meet again. Please accept my sincere sympathy to your dad and entire family at this difficult time.

To Pat’s family.
My sincere condolenses to all of you at this very sad time in your lives. I shall always remember Pat as a very committed, caring and cheerful woman. We first met when she served on our VON Perth-Huron Board of Directors and she fulfilled this role with passion and integrity. And her humour – we always found something to laugh about. I know you will all miss her greatly. Patti it has been years, but whenever I met your Mom she was sure to update me. Take care and treasure all the wonderful memories.

Condolence from Jim & Donna Fischer on January 23rd, 2010 1:38 PM

Dear Bob & family,

We were sorry to learn of Pat’s passing. We both remember our earlier meeting times when you & Pat were facilitators offering the “Partners In Success” course for farming couples – like ourselves.

You both were wonderful role models to young farmers just starting out. (We are older now and retired from dairy farming.)

We think of you in prayers and may Pat’s memories be cherished forever and in the coming days.

God Bless!

To the Down family:
I tried to send a message earlier but I think I failed.
I apologize for not being able to attend the funeral. My medical problems have left me in a positon where I am unable to walk or even to stand in line.
I didn’t know Pat very well but she always seemed to have the time to smile and say hello. I recall where she had a party fo the Cross Country when Patti was a budding star.
All of the girls were smart and stood up or themselves. This was a relection of the good parenting they received.
May I pass on my best wishes to the entire family.
