Where do we start with the memories of Dave. If it wasn’t at Bowling Green, Fishing at the French or just being around Usborne Township. My personal favourite would be when Sue and I thought we would start a tradition of taking the kids to Christmas Eve (the one and only time) and Dave and Sharon came with us. Needless to say the kids were not into it and the grin on Dave’s face was priceless. There will be a void not only in your family but also in this community…………..not too many had the work ethic like Dave did.

He will definitely be missed.

To further add to our embarrassment the boater turned out to be Dave! He graciously gave us a few hooks and we all had a good laugh before resuming our fishing.

I’m not too good at this–but I have to write something.Dave always had a wise crack for me whenever our paths crossed.He came out at the most un godly hours to fix our old oil burner then later our problematic gas furnace.He shared his immense knowledge with me freely–I could pick his brain anytime for just about any project,not just plumbing/heating.He was a fixture in his pickup truck around town,giving me a sense of “safety” knowing that on the coldest miserablest night,Dave was there to ensure we would not freeze.He will be sorely missed by everyone in the Exeter area.We have truly lost a gem,a 1 of a kind type guy.I am completely beside myself.To all his family,please accept my heartfelt condolences.
