PARSONS: Helen (née Latta) of Exeter

Peacefully at Exeter Villa on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in her 92nd year. Loving wife of the late William (Bill) Parsons (2010). Beloved mother of Bob and Theresa Parsons of Exeter, Allan Parsons of Exeter (Sue McKay of St. Marys), and Barbara and Ross Millar of Orangeville. Loving grandma of 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Vera Roth of Point Clark, and Robert (Bob) and Dolores Parsons of Montreal. Predeceased by 7 brothers and 1 sister.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Friday evening 6-8 PM, and again on Saturday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 AM, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 11 AM. Interment Exeter Cemetery.  

Donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, Exeter Villa, or the R. E. Pooley, RCL Branch #167 – Exeter Legion.

Dear Bob, Allan, Barb & Families …

It is with a saddened heart that I am sending my sincerest sympathy to all of you on the loss of your dear and beautiful mother, Helen. She was a remarkable women who along with your Dad, Bill raised a wonderful family. I have so many great memories of both your parents from the days of horse shows, trail rides and rodeos. Thinking of all of you and remembering the fun times our families had together back then. May your cherished memories put a smile on your face and comfort you through these difficult days ahead. It is always hard to see our once lively parents age and eventually leave this world behind but know they both loved each and everyone of you and will now be reunited forever in Heaven. I am truly sorry that I will be unable to attend the funeral on Saturday morning but please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs !
